BELLA RIO BOURBON
Bella Rio is more than a name - it’s a legacy. Inspired by founders Isabelle (Bella) and Andy (Rio), we pour our hearts into every drop. Crafted with purpose and aged with patience, Bella Rio is a tribute to bold beginnings, meaningful moments, and the beauty of building something together - a spirit that reminds us: true passion isn’t just found, it’s crafted.
Bella Rio Bourbon was born from our passion for craft spirits and our partnership with Kennay Farms Distilling. After the success of ROCK’N Vodka, we had the chance to experience Kennay’s bourbon firsthand. That tasting sparked the idea to expand beyond vodka and create something truly special—our own bourbon brand.
That vision gave rise to our Angel’s Share Bourbon—the very first bottles produced under the Bella Rio name. Limited to just 200 bottles, each one has been hand-numbered and signed by Rick Nielsen, who went beyond his autograph by serenading the bourbon as it rested in the barrel, sending guitar vibrations into the spirit as it aged.
To make the experience even more memorable, we launched the Barrel Picking Event. Guests were invited to Kennay Farms Distilling to taste and score five unique bourbon barrels. Their feedback narrowed the field to two finalists, and in true rock ’n’ roll fashion, Rick Nielsen made the final decision with a flick of his iconic guitar pick.
We also wanted to ensure our community left a lasting mark on the brand itself. Participants helped name and design the bourbon label, with submissions voted on through our social media community. Artist Shannon MacDonald transformed the design notes into label concepts before another round of voting determined the final look. The winning name and artwork were then finalized and registered with the TTB, securing their permanent place in Bella Rio Bourbon’s story.
More than a spirit, Bella Rio Bourbon is a celebration of collaboration, community, and creativity—where the craft of distilling meets the soul of rock ’n’ roll. It’s not just ours; it belongs to everyone who helped bring it to life.
